In 2016, Sean was an ACT Eminent Writer-in-Residence. This was a partnership between ACT Writers' Centre, the Museum for Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House, and the Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centre. Sean spent one month in Canberra researching a new novel and engaging with the ACT writing community.
