The Asian Studies Association of Australia (ASAA) is the peak body of university experts and educators on Asia in Australia (ABN 34 058 906 542). The ASAA has been a registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission since 23 January 2022.
Established in 1976, ASAA promote and support the study of Asia in Australian universities and knowledge of Asia among the broader community. ASAA membership is drawn mainly from academics and students, but also includes industry and government Asia experts.
