Health Translation SA (HTSA) Research Seminar Series: Partnering with Frail, Homebound, and Bedridden People (#FHBP): Consumer-Led and Co-Designed Knowledge Translation

Activity: Talk or presentation typesOral presentation

Description

This invited presentation shared the design, implementation, and impact of the Frail, Homebound, and Bedridden People (FHBP) Program of Research. Developed using participatory action research, transdisciplinary knowledge translation, and stakeholder co-design, the program responded to urgent calls for health system innovation that centres lived experience.

The talk highlighted how creative and rigorous approaches (including body mapping, co-produced media, and KT frameworks like PROLIFERATE and PROLIFERATE_AI) were used to deliver policy, sector, and research impact. The presentation also demonstrated the value of combining traditional outputs with arts-based and digital dissemination strategies to amplify marginalised voices.
