Description

Provided expert media commentary to ABC News on Queensland legislation requiring ex-service organisations to obtain Returned and Services League approval to conduct two-up on Anzac Day. Analysis addressed veteran inclusion, the changing composition of Australia’s veteran community, institutional gatekeeping, and the need to modernise traditions and regulatory frameworks to reflect contemporary veteran experiences. Contributed alongside Professor Ben Wadham as part of the Open Door Initiative, Flinders University.
