Description

The aim is to present practitioners with an applied approach of how to optimize sprint mechanical characteristics using horizontal force-velocity profiling. By analyzing sprint performance using force-velocity quadrants, it may improve our understanding of training prescription for team and individual sport athletes. Coaching applications will focus on enhancing sprint performance from a physiological-neuromuscular (force-velocity) or technical (max ratio of forces-decrement in ratio of forces) perspective.
