This panel brings together four trailblazing women who are reshaping the landscape of innovative technology in South Australia. Onnie Chan, Founder and Director of Women in Creative Technologies (WiCT), will share her vision for empowering women in the creative tech industries. Kat Bell, an Aboriginal artist and innovator, will discuss how AR and animation are used to tell powerful cultural stories. Kirsty Parkin, founder of Supaglue, highlights her recruitment work in supporting women’s career advancement in gaming and VFX. Dr. Lauren (Frank) Woolbright, Senior Lecturer in Game Design at Flinders University, is committed to bridging the gap for women in the VFX and entertainment industries through education and empowerment. This dynamic panel will explore how these women are breaking down barriers, driving inclusivity, and creating a future where diverse voices lead. Participants will gain valuable insights and inspiration to forge their paths in the tech industry.
