The 2024 SAHMRI Registry Centre Scientific Symposium will focus on the Value and Impact of Clinical Quality Registries while investigating the catalysts for change in policy and practice. SAHMRI Registry Centre Director Cindy Turner says attendees will gain a unique insight into how clinical registries can influence health outcomes. “This is an important annual event in the registry science sector and will be of interest to those working with, or within, clinical registries or interested in undertaking research projects using registry data,” she said.Dr Freddie Bray will be the symposium’s keynote speaker. He is Head of the Cancer Surveillance Section at the World Health Organisaton’s International Agency for Research on Cancer. “We are extremely privileged to have Dr Bray visiting from Lyon France to speak about the global impact of registries,” Ms Turner said.
