The WITec alphaRAS+ confocal Raman microscope uses the Raman effect to provide chemical composition information for a wide variety of samples ranging from materials, pharmaceuticals and minerals to biological samples. With automated focusing and stage movement, a choice of 3 laser excitation wavelengths and polarisation controls, Raman spectra can be collected across a sample’s surface giving maps with Raman spectra at each pixel. AFM capability allows 3-dimensional imaging with co-located Raman information for samples. Additional SNOM capability enables sample imaging below the diffraction limit of visible light.

    - 10x, 20x, 50x and 100x air objectives.
    - equipped with AFM and SNOM capabilities.
