Research Biography
Dr Abraham Kuot is a Research Fellow in Eye and Vision Research within the College of Medicine and Public Health at the Flinders University of South Australia. He is a molecular biologist, geneticist and a public health researcher with over 16 years of research experience. He completed his PhD in Medical Research at the Department of Ophthalmology, Flinders University in 2015. Dr Kuot's current research ineterests broadly include investigation and understanding of the genetics and non-genetics causes and mechanisms of human eye diseases, particularly glaucoma genetics. He is also interested in the teaching career at the University.
Research Interests
Dr Kuot's main research interests focus on the epidemiology and genetics causes and mechanisms of human eye blinding conditions such as glaucoma and Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy.
