Research Biography

Welcome to my home page. I am a Research Fellow in the Precision Medicine Group at the College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University.

I am passionate about patient care and improving clinical outcomes of medicine use. My research aims to optimize disease treatment by understanding and predicting patient-specific treatment benefits and harms using state-of-the-art data and methods. In my work, I use clinical epidemiology and advanced modelling techniques that enable the development of clinical prediction models that allow personalised treatment decisions driving improved outcomes for patients. Notably, I incorporate artificial intelligence techniques into the development of such models.

Our research group is always interested in identifying and working with PhD and Honours students, and has several projects available. Students would need to obtain a scholarship that will cover their own living expenses and tuition fees, but we are more than happy to support qualified students in applying for available funding. Please contact me if you are interested.
