Research Biography

Alex Wall comes from a background of research and development and design management in industry. Having spent 15 years honing his design and project management skills leading a team of professionals to deliver high end scuba diving products he was responsible for delivering innovative, IPR protected, award winning designs to promote business growth. He has recently relocated to South Australia taking a Research position within the College of Science and Engineering at Flinders University. Responsible for the design, development and clinical testing of an innovative medical device for the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnoea. His new area of interest within biomedical engineering involves the application of fibre optic sensing technology within in-vivo clinical studies.
