Research Biography

Alisha Guyett, B.Psych (Hons) is a final year PhD candidate candidate specialising in circadian rhythms among shift workers and individuals working in encapsulated environments. Alisha has assisted to lead multiple grant funded research projects to completion including from the the Defence Science and Technology Group and Detecting Driver Sleepiness. Alisha has extensive experience in the management of clinical and research trial methodology particularly in extended wake and driving laboratory protocols. Alisha has a first author publication in the top journal SLEEP reporting on the findings of her PhD work, and is a co-author on 5 published papers. Additionally, Alisha was nominated for the Australian Sleep Society new investigator award and has received ~$40,000 career development grants.
