Research Biography

Amanda is an experienced dietitian (APD), senior lecturer for the Nutrition and Dietetics programs, she is also a doctoral candidate. An experienced academic leader, Amanda is a passionate educator with a research interest in placement education and transition to practice. 

A part-time candidate for the Doctor of Philosophy, her thesis is entitled 'Underperformance and failure in practice placement: exploring the experience of allied health students when placement goes wrong'.
