Dr. Anna Konopka's research achievements underscore her pivotal role in advancing the understanding of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Motor Neuron Disease). Her work primarily focuses on studying DNA damage as a key contributor to the progression of ALS, a discovery that has profound implications for the disease's mechanism.
