Personal profile

Research Biography

I have come to medical education after years in general practice both north and south of the city. I am still working in clinical practice as a Senior Visiting Medical Specialist in the Antenatal Clinic at the Women's & Children's Hospital.

I love teaching students and get great delight from developing innovative ways to make the teaching practical, real, useful and leading to good long term outcomes.

In my role as Director of years 1&2 of the Medical Course, I am working to ensure quality teaching in a safe learning environment for all students, leading to readiness for the clinical placements in years 3&4 and high quality doctors on graduation.
