Research Biography

Biju received his veterinary medical training and a masters training in immunology from India. After working with Ranbaxy on New Drug Discovery Research for two years, he moved to New Zealand, where he received his PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Auckland. During his academic and industrial tenure, he established skill sets in the areas of molecular biology, microbiology, toxicology, vaccine /formulation development, drug discovery and molecular diagnostics. His current research interests include cancer immunology, drug discovery, microbiome, and nutritional interventions on the prevention, control and treatment of cancer and infectious diseases in humans and animals.
