Research Biography

Dr Wilson is a Senior Lecturer in Indigenous Australian Studies and Archaeology. He is teaching arcaheology and Indigneous Australian Studies and an early career researcher. He has worked as an Academic Advisor for Yunggorendi First Nations Centre for Higher Education and Research and Lecturer in the Office of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement. Current projects include:

National Indigenous Research and Knowledge's Network (NIRAKN) Dr Wilson is currently a CI (network participant) for the Australian Research Council (ARC) Special Research Initiative (CI: Prof Aileen Moreton Robinson) 2003-2019.

Chris was the first Indigenous Australian to be awarded a PhD in Archaeology (awarded from Flinders University in 2017)
