Research Biography

Christopher is the senior staff member in  the Master of Audiology program and teaches in both the Bachelor and Master of Speech Pathology programs. He has also taught at LaTrobe University and at the University of Queensland. He completed his research Masters degree at LaTrobe University in 1996, and his PhD at the University of Queensland in 2006. His major research interests include conversation repair and acquired hearing impairment, as well as psychosocial aspects of adult hearing impairment. He is on editorial board for the International Journal of Audiology and the International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology. He was External Examiner for the Master of Audiology, Universiti Kebansaang Malaysia (2009) and for the Master of Science (Audiology) program at the University of Hong Kong (2010 - 2013).
