Personal profile
Research Biography
I possess a keen interest in applied research and analysis in the field of sport and physical activity, education, and youth mental wellbeing. The intersection of these 3 topics forms the basis of my PhD candidacy at Flinders University where I will be investigating how secondary student wellbeing emerges in a cohort of students studying at a South Australia Sport School.
I attirbute my passion for working within systems revolving around young people to my first experience of volunteering for headspace Australia as a Youth Ambassador. After completing my Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in 2016, I have gained extensive work experience in the youth mental health and teritary education sectors. Most recently, I have worked as an Access Project Officer at the Education Pathways Team, Flinders University, which supports prospective students from disadvantaged backgrounds to access university.
