Eddie has worked across the private sector, state government and academia over the past 15 years as a hydrogeologist. His research interests involve investigating interactions between surface water and groundwater, coastal hydrogeology and groundwater flow processes in fractured rock aquifer systems. I have expertise in advanced surface water and groundwater sampling techniques, environmental tracers, heat as a tracer, hydrogeophysics and numerical modelling.
He is passionate about applying sound scientific methodologies and analytical research methods to support natural resource managers, landholders and the community to advance sustainable water resource management. As well as exploring new and novel techniques to understand and investigate the complex hydrological cycle and exchanges with the other Earth's Spheres.
Use of environmental tracers, hydrogeochemistry, hydrogeophysics and novel field techniques to investigate and understand exchange processes and sources in the hydrosphere. In particular, surface water-groundwater interactions, fractured rock aquifers and coastal hydrogeology
