Associate Professor Elizabeth (Liz) Boase holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech and Hearing) from the Western Australian Institute of Technology (now Curtin University) and a Bachelor of Divinity (Honours) and PhD from Murdoch University. She completed her doctorate in 2003 in the field of Old Testament/Hebrew Bible. Since graduating she has worked at the University of Notre Dame (2004-2008), and most recently at Uniting College/Adelaide College of Divinity (2009 to present). She has been the Academic Dean of the ACD for the past two years, and head of theology for Flinders University since 2014. Liz publishes regularly in the area of Hebrew Bible, with research strengths in the book of Lamentations, Jeremiah, and trauma hermeneutics. She presents regularly in Australia and overseas.
