Dr Saccone is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in project management, leadership, and mentoring within research and academic settings.  Her research has investigated health and wellbeing in military and other first responder groups, as well as developmental cognitive neuroscience, neuroplasticity in blindness, and visual and multisensory perception. She is proficient in behavioral and neuroimaging research methods, including fMRI, with expertise spanning project design, implementation, and data analysis using tools such as R and Python.

Dr Saccone has published her findings in leading scientific journals and presented at prominent conferences and institutions across Australia and the United States, including Johns Hopkins University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Stanford University.
