Research Biography

I am Research Fellow in Virology with 8 years of experience in infectious disease research, performing mode of action and target identification studies, medium throughput screenings, computational studies and whole genome CRISPR screening with high interest in translational research. During my PhD and 1st postdoctoral role, my research focused on malaria drug discovery and the investigation of malaria protein export into the mammalian host and its effect on parasite development. In my role at Flinders, I am working on understanding the mechanism of action of a novel dengue virus inhibitor.
