Research Biography
Fei Huang received the bachelor’s and master’s degree from Central South University in 2011 and 2014 in the major of Geological Engineering. Fei Huang's master degree study is maily about unsaturated soil and slope stability analysis.
After graduation, Fei followed a career path in industry. Before his PhD study, Fei was a registered and senior geotechnical engineer in China and have accumulated more than 9 years of engineering experience, mainly in the slope design, construction technique of pile foundation and geotechnical investigation (GI). Specifically, Fei have carried out more than 15 onshore and offshore GI projects in China and other countries like Jamaica and Malaysia. In these projects, Fei had performed site exploration, sampling and in-situ testing like SPT,DPT, CPT, VST, as well as data analysis and interpretation.
