Research Biography

Dr. G M Wali Ullah is a finance academic with more than 8 years of experience in teaching, coordinating and developing courses across several tertiary education providers in Australia and Bangladesh. He holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Finance from the University of Adelaide, MSc in International Finance from the University of Westminster, UK, and a BBA in Finance from East West University, Bangladesh. His doctoral thesis focused on the effects of managerial ability and CEO behavioral characteristics in corporate financial decision-making. 

Dr. Wali Ullah’s research interests are multidisciplinary in nature, in the intersection of Corporate Finance, Behavioural Finance, FinTech, Supply Chain Management, and Social Sciences. He has presented at prestigious academic conferences such as the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) Doctoral Symposium, the Financial Markets and Corporate Governance (FMCG) Conference, the New Zealand Finance Meeting and the Multinational Finance Society Conference. His research has also been published in esteemed journals such as Energy Economics, International Review of Economics and Finance, Finance Research Letters, Economics Letters and Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics.
