Research Biography

Prof Rogers is a molecular microbiologist and microbial ecologist. He is a Matthew Flinders Fellow, and an NHMRC Senior Fellow, and leads a laboratory based within the School of Medicine and Public Health. His research programme focuses on the contribution of human-associated microbiota to health and disease. He is the Director, Microbiome Research at SAHMRI and leads the FHMRI Infection and Immunity programme.
