Personal profile

Research Biography

Natural history is the foundation for insight into the ecology of an organism. I therefore use natural history studies and chance observations to elucidate the ecology of selected parasites and their hosts.

Research Expertise

I have experience investigating and reporting on:

  • the diets and foraging behaviour of lizards and snakes.
  • the reproductive biology of lizards and snakes.
  • selected parasites found in/on lizards and snakes.

Research Interests

Although I have a broad interest in natural history and ecology, I have a preference for reptile ticks, their distribution and host species, and the ecological roles they play.
