Dr. Haoze Zhang completed his PhD in Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales in 2024, supported by the prestigious Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship. During his doctoral studies, he also took on a role as a casual academic, actively involved in teaching and educational development across multiple faculties at UNSW Sydney. After a short postdoctoral period at UNSW, he secured a research associate fellowship at Flinders University.
Dr. Zhang's research focuses on advanced manufacturing methods for next-generation ultra-low-energy electronics, aiming to integrate these technologies into existing manufacturing processes to support Australia's net-zero goals. He has extensive expertise in developing and applying advanced scanning probe microscopy and spectroscopic techniques to investigate electronic materials, surfaces, and interfaces at the nanoscale, particularly in low-energy data storage, agile nanoelectronics, and sustainable energy harvesting.
