Research Biography
My research focuses on healthy ageing and system integration within primary care. I hold a joint research position with Adelaide Primary Health Network, enabling collaboration on initiatives that support older Australians to live and stay well. I work closely with general practices, health professionals, community and primary care providers, carers, and people with lived experience. I have expertise in implementation science and knowledge translation with my research supporting evidence-based healthy ageing in primary care.
My recent research topics include:
- Early intervention for healthy ageing
- Proactive physical, social and mental interventions for older people
- Ageing well at home
- Improving the wellbeing and quality of life of older people
- Allied health workforce in primary care
- Integration of care to support people's transitions through the health system
- PhD Topic: Managing challenging behaviours after traumatic brain injury in the acute hospital setting
