Research Interests

Research in my lab involves protein biochemistry, protein structure determination by x-ray crystallography, in silico drug screening and parasitology.

Projects Include:

  1. Malarial Proteins as targets for rational drug design.
  2. Molecular techniques for parasite identification and quantification in native fauna
  3. Characterisation of unique ATP synthases from Alveolate species
  4. 3-Dimensional Structures of proteins involved in haze formation in white wine
  5. Protein structure and function analysis and in silico drug screening of Dipeptidyl Peptidases
