Research Interests

I am currently completing a PhD through the University of Adelaide, with a central focus on the application of cultural safety across two domains: public policy making; and as a framework for tertiary-based health care education. Specifically, my research aims to explore the possibilities of using cultural safety as a key mechanism for improving health and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations, by improving the way that policy is developed and implemented, and the way that we approach health care education in the tertiary sector.
