Research Biography

Jessie Anderson is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University. Jessie is a Registered Nurse, researcher and educator with a background in Emergency Nursing. Jessie teaches across a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing topics.

Currently based in Adelaide, Jessie previously worked with the Rural Inter-Professional Placement Learning team in Alice Springs and remains committed to the development of the rural and remote nursing and allied health workforce.

Her research is focussed on nursing workforce challenges including the transition from university to practice and specifically in regional and remote settings in Australia.
