Research Biography

Joanne is an economist and public health researcher with expertise in quantitative research. Her research explores the impact of the distribution of social determinants of health on health equity and interactions between health and work. She worked at the Southgate Institute for Health, Society and Equity and the Research Centre for Injury Studies from 2018 to 2022. Joanne received her PhD in 2016 and worked as a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Labour Studies until December 2017.

She is now working at the University of Adelaide and has Academic Status at Flinders University
