Research Biography

Kham is an experienced university lecturer and researcher in different contexts of Vietnam, South Korea and Australia. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Social Work and Social Policy from the University of South Australia. He gained research experience qualitatively and quantitatively in different social research areas. His research interests and publications include dementia, social work education and practices in disability, migration, social inclusion and community development. Kham has extensive experience in research design, data collection and data management, systematic reviews and scoping reviews developed while working in Vietnam, South Korea and Australia. He is skilled in qualitative and quantitative research, and has authored and co-authored 50 journal papers and chapters in English and Vietnamese.

Research Expertise

Kham has been successfull in securing numerous grants relating to his area of expertise and is currently Project Coordinator and Research Associate of NHMRC TCR 2024551 project: developing a culturally tailored iSupport care model for dementia carers (2023-2028).
