Research Biography
Lauren joined the Centre in April 2016 as a Research Assistant after completing a Bachelor of Medical Science at Flinders University in 2013, and then an Honours project with the Centre in 2014 with a thesis titled 'Evaluation of three new point-of-care testing devices for HbA1c and lipids and their applicability to community settings'.
Lauren works as part of the Northern Territory Point-of-Care Testing Program, which operates in over 80 health centres across the Northern Territory and surrounding states in Australia. Lauren is also a part of the Northern Territory Point-of-Care Testing Management Committee.
