Dr Leah Couzner is a Research Associate with research interests in the health and wellbeing of older adults and young onset dementia. Her research has focused on the provision of trauma-informed care, preferences for health service configurations, quality of life, and clinical rehabilitation interventions for older adults. Leah has previously conducted both quantitative and qualitative research in the areas of health economics, mental health nursing, clinical education and paramedicine. Prior to this she worked in the community aged care sector.
Leah is also employed as a Research Support Assistant in Research Development and Support (Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute), providing administrative assistance in the grant submission process.
