Research Biography

Dr Lin Han is a Lecturer in Business Analytics at Flinders University. Lin holds a PhD in Business Analytics from Macquarie University, with her doctoral research focused on financial risk analytics and management in electricity markets. 

Prior to joining Flinders, Lin held Research Fellow and Lecturer positions at Macquarie University. She has taught a variety of subjects in Business Analytics, Finance and Econometrics. Lin also has extensive industry experience across the energy, finance, and consulting sectors, where she has applied advanced statistical and data science techniques to support data-driven decision-making. 

Lin's research interests focus on energy economics, financial econometrics and business analytics, including the fields of energy market analytics, forecasting and simulation, renewable energy transition, energy trading, network analysis and risk management. She has published research and served as a peer reviewer for several high-impact Q1 and A/A* journals in these areas.
