Research Biography

Lisa Sullivan is the founder and Group Managing Director of
In Vivo Communications, an Australasian medical communications agency established in Sydney in 1996 and Singapore in 1999. In 2013, Lisa established In Vivo Academy Limited, an Australian registered not-for-profit education charity dedicated to the development and deployment of independent, accredited continuing education across Australasia and the world.

In Vivo Academy (previously accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) has developed and delivered numerous accredited programmes to Australian GPs and specialists, nurses and pharmacists both face-to-face and online.
Lisa’s Master of Philosophy (from UQ), was a systematic review evaluating the effectiveness of online, face-to-face and blended learning in the delivery of CME/CPD to health care professionals and she is now in the early stages of her PhD to evaluate the translation of learning into practice in CME/CPD for GPs.

Lisa is the Deputy Editor and Board member of the  Journal of CME (JCME), and was the Guest Editor for the 2023 Special Collection which focused on expanding voices in CME/CPD.

She is a member of ANZAHPE and attends their annual conference (having presented posters in 2023 and 2024 with an oral presentation in 2025) together with several other global education conferences including AMEE, the European CME Forum and the US based Alliance meeting each year. Lisa has also had an abstract accepted at the Society of Academic CME (SACME) in 2026.
