Louisa comes to the University with over 20 years of experience as a Community Nutritionist-Dietitian, working with families, children and the services who support them and is known for her leadership and expertise in food policy, project management, primary prevention and early intervention using collaborative approaches. A member of the Caring for Futures Institute, Louisa's interests include research into the evidence-to-practice gap and the translation of evidence-based best practice into daily routines. A particular focus is on qualitative methods and working with the early childhood education and care sectors. As a Research & Teaching Academic, Louisa also supports research in the scholarship of teaching.
