Dr Lucy Simmonds is a Lecturer in Health Care Management and Marketing. She holds a PhD in marketing, a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) and postgraduate qualifications in science communication. Lucy's research uses consumer behaviour techniques to develop evidence and to translate evidence into practice. Her interests include social marketing, health communications, consumer behaviour, research translation and implementation science, particularly to improve outcomes in childhood.
Lucy has professional experience in marketing communications for health organisations. She is a former Research Fellow in Behaviour and Practice Change at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and an Endeavour Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.
