Research Biography

Maddison Dix is a PhD candidate with expertise in behavioural research and psycho-oncology. Her research focuses on identifying strategies to improve the clinical care experiences of individuals diagnosed with colorectal (bowel) cancer, as well as those at higher risk for developing the disease. By understanding patients’ perspectives on current clinical care processes, her work aims to apply these insights into strategies to improve diagnostic pathways, access to supportive care services, and tailored prevention strategies to better meet the needs of these populations.
