Her upcoming research looks at associations between disordered eating in adolescence and mental and physical health outcomes in early adulthood.

Research Interests

  • Disordered eating
  • Psychiatric genomics
  • Epigenetics

Career Highlights

Madeleine received her PhD in psychology in 2024, focusing on disordered eating classification and polygenic and epigenetic associations in the general population. She is currently working on a NHMRC Ideas Grant funded project, focusing on improving outcomes for individuals with disordered eating through a biopsychosocial lens that incorporates genomic, epigenetic, and environmental factors.

She has 2 publications published in Q1 (top 10%) journals and is due to submit an additional 2 publications before the end of 2024.
