Research Biography

Mark is currently completing his PhD research exploring digital competencies for health service managers. He has authored 15 relevant peer-reviewed publications. His research interests focus on qualitative approaches to exploring digital health, virtual health and health informatic competencies required to manage healthcare in the digital age. Mark has been the recipient of a Flinders University College of Business, Government and Law Teaching Professional Development Grant ($3,000), and a James Cook University College of Public Health, Medical and Veterinary Sciences Higher Degree by Research Enhancement Scheme Grant ($2,750).
