Research Interests

Registry of Senior Australians (ROSA)

In my role as Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Registry of Senior Australians, I used linked, routinely-collected 'big data' to answer important clinical and epidemiological questions about aged care users in Australia.

Integrated Care for Young Onset Dementia (INSPIRED-II)

Service delivery and care for young people wtih dementia sits at the intersection of the disability and aged care sectors, commonly resulting in their 'falling through the cracks'. This pilot study aims to implement and assess an integrated model of care that promotes collaboration between the NDIS, disability providers, and aged care providers.

Inclusive Care for Older Trauma Survivors (ICOTS)

Psychological trauma can affect the experience of receiving aged care in fundamental ways. This project includes a number of initiatives aiming to better understand and screen for these impacts, and assess the utility of trauma-informed care in aged care environments. This project includes collaborations with Helping Hand Aged Care and the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network.

I can offer student projects on these or other topics - just email me to discuss
