Thank you for visiting my Flinders University homepage. I am a Senior Research Officer in the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA), College of Medicine and Public Health. NCETA is an internationally recognised research centre that works as a catalyst for change in the alcohol and other drugs field. The promotion of Workforce Development principles, research and evaluation of effective practices is NCETA's core business.
As a health behaviour scientist, my broad research experience has been focused on better understanding health and mental health needs – particularly for those affected by cancer, cardiovascular disease, and AOD use – and in developing and evaluating intervention aimed at higher-risk (occupational, demographic) population subgroups. I primarily contribute to current research programs in messaging to reduce parental supply of alcohol to adolescents. My teaching interests extend to psychological measurement and research methodology for the behavioural sciences, where I'm highly experienced in course coordination, online learning, and student insights/analytics research.
