L. Nicol Cabe is a digital dramaturg studying post-pandemic online and digital theatre's evolution alongside the return to in-person live performance. She is researching the change in this new form of performance at Flinders University. She received her masters degree in digital dramaturgy and theatre studies from the University of Glasgow in 2021.
Prior to returning to graduate school, Cabe was a dramaturg, director, writer, and performer who focused on science fiction, fantasy, speculative fiction, and genre-inspired theatre works. She created scifi-based solo performances and toured these storytelling shows to fringe festivals all over the world, including the United States, Australia, and Canada.
