Professor Nicola Spurrier is a dual qualified Medical Specialist, Public Health Physician and Paediatrician, with 29 years’ experience within SA Health including 10 years in the Department for Health and Wellbeing, the past two holding senior roles.

She is a strategic and innovative leader, who has specialised in developing and implementing policies and programs across child health, obesity prevention and Aboriginal health. With extensive experience in health protection and promotion, public health partnership and health diplomacy activities; combined with statewide clinical leadership experience and particular expertise in innovative approaches to medical education and workforce development.
