Research Interests

Dr. Lovato is a Research Fellow at the Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health, Flinders University. Her research is focused on the basic and clinical aspects of sleep, circadian rhythms, and sleep disorders such as insomnia, and the translation of this knowledge to ensure best-practice sleep healthcare is accessible and cost-effective for the community. Her research has been funded by the NHMRC, ARC, and CRC for Alertness, Safety and Productivity. She has received several awards for her work including the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Early Career Researcher, South Australian Young Tall Poppy, and an Australian Psychological Association Early Career Researcher Award.
