Dr Peivand Bastani is a specialist in Health Services Research and Health Policymaking with the special interest in public health policymaking, policy analysis and the impacts of policy interventions and regulations on the populations` health particularly by applying digital health and health informatics interventions. She completed her PhD in Health Services and Health Policymaking in Iran and developed her knowlege and understanding of health services and policymaking in a year of Postdoctoral Research fellow at the University of Queensland where she tried to combine her HTA and policy impact analysis skills with epidemiology. She has an Australian track record as a lecturer at higher education level for health sciences student at Charles Darwin University. She has currently joined to the Colllege of Business, Gornment and Law, Flinders University as a Senior Lectere in Healthcare management. She has a brilliant track record and mutual collaborations with many Australian universities and a distinguished experience in healthcare management and medical education overseas. She is being recognised in Stanford University's prestigious list of the World's Top 2% Scientists in 2023 due to her research profile and the impacts of research. She is also internationally recognised in teaching, developing the carriculumn and applying innovative approaches in teaching and learning in healthcare area.
