Raechel Damarell is Senior Research Fellow with the Aged Care Centre for Growth and Translational Research. Here she identifies and synthesises aged care knowledge and evidence, making it accessible to the aged care workforce for its ready translation into practice.
Raechel is currently a member of the Research Centre for Palliative Care, Death and Dying and serves the editorial board for Progress in Palliative Care as its Bibliography Editor. She is also a member of the Early Career Researcher Network of Primary Care Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Group (PC4).
Her research interests include general practitioner care of people with multimorbidity and a life-limiting illness and the quality and relevance of the clinical practice guideline evidence available to them.
Raechel was previously a health librarian with Flinders University Library, based at the Gus Fraenkel Medical Library, FMC. She has also been employed as a Research Associate with CareSearch and as an Investigator with the specialist research group Flinders Filters.
